We are currently seeking motivated and safety-conscious individuals to join our team as a Shop Technician / Inspector Trainee. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and build a career in the oil and gas industry within our company.As an Inspector Trainee, you will work alongside experienced inspection professionals, supporting and learning various inspection techniques and procedures. You’ll be trained to perform inspections safely and accurately while adhering to industry regulations and our strict quality standards
Key Responsibilities:
Assist certified inspectors in conducting inspections
Support in preparing reports and maintaining inspection records
Learn and apply basic NDT methods (UT, MT, PT)
Work effectively in a team environment
Enforce compliance with HSE and all safety protocols and procedures
Adhere to quality procedures and policies in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (technical/trade background is a plus)
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn
Must be safety-oriented and a reliable team player
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Asset But Not Required:
Certified in MPI Level II, LPI Level II, UT Level II, DS1, API
BHA, DP/Casing Inspections
Basic understanding of non-destructive testing (NDT) methods or coursework
Previous experience in the offshore oil and gas industry
